Parents for Inclusive Education (PIE) is an organization of parents, educators, and advocates working together to make inclusion of children with disabilities a more viable option in New York City's schools. Begun in 1997, PIE has grown to over 100 members who span the City's five boroughs. We employ a variety of strategies, including reaching out to other parents of children with special needs and advocating to educators and officials on the State and local levels for policy reform.
