Ruth Lowenkron, director of Disability Justice at NYLPI, joined Correct Crisis Intervention Today-NYC (CCIT-NYC) for Peers, Policy & Pancakes, a legislative breakfast at NAMI-NYC for City Council members, Borough President offices and the City Comptroller’s office.

CCIT-NYC is a coalition of activists, community and non-profit members, and other advocates working to transform how New York City responds to the 200,000+ mental health crisis calls now responded to by the NYPD. CCIT-NYC seeks a peer-led health team response to these crisis calls.
