Event Recap: Liman Center Marks 25 Years and Looks to the Future

This past spring, Yale Law School’s Arthur Liman Center for Public Interest Law honored its 25th anniversary during the annual Liman Public Interest Colloquium. NYLPI’s Executive Director McGregor Smyth, a former Liman Center Fellow, spoke on one of the panels featured during the three-day gathering. The session “Public Service/Private Practice,” addressed priorities in accepting pro bono cases. He spoke about NYLPI’s Pro Bono Clearinghouse and ongoing collaboration with law firms to staff public interest cases.
