Participants gained valuable insights into the history of the disability rights movement, disability laws, migration from a disability perspective, and best practices for representing people with disabilities.

The key areas included:

Rights-Based Approach: Understand disability, rights-based perspectives, and the principles of accessibility and accommodation.

Displacement and Migration: Learn about the experiences of displacement, migration, and seeking asylum for people with disabilities.

Practical Application: Gain practice pointers for interacting and  working effectively with people with disabilities
