Nonprofit New York is thrilled to announce a half-day summit, hosted in collaboration with New York Lawyers for the Public Interest, featuring candid conversations and insightful panel discussions on the climate and space challenges impacting the nonprofit sector, including:
- Climate Goals: Complying with Local Law 97 and other local climate legislation and what nonprofits can do to advance climate and environmental justice
- Real Estate: Navigating rental leases, exploring the hybrid work model, utilizing space in optimal ways, and mitigating cost escalations passed on from landlords
- Capital Funding: Securing funding for renovations, equipment, new construction, property purchases, and the development of office space to create more effective programming and services

Accessibility Statement
Nonprofit New York is committed to making our events and experiences as accessible as possible. We have ASL Interpretation services available and have ensured table clearance at the conference is 28 inches to accommodate mobility devices. A general blueprint of the space, PowerPoints and other materials, and accessible handouts can be made available before the conference at attendees’ request. Guide dogs are welcome as well. Elevators are available in addition to stairs for all spaces. Gender neutral bathrooms, as well as a lactation and prayer room, will be available. Sessions will be recorded and can be translated to a language other than English upon request.

Proof of vaccination will be required at the door. A negative COVID test is not a substitute for vaccination. Masks are not required, so please consider your individual comfort level. Note that if you choose to visit Ford’s art gallery, masks are required in that space. Please reach out individually with any specific questions.
