CCIT-NYC Peers Not Police Rally. May 15 at 10:30 a.m. at NYC City Hall.

Join NYLPI and coalition partner CCIT-NYC for a #PeersNotPolice Budget Rally. Meet at Centre and Chambers Street outside of City Hall on May 15 at 10:30 a.m.

This #PeersNotPolice rally will be held before the Executive New York City Budget Hearing on Mental Health, Disabilities and Addictions.

CCIT-NYC is a coalition of individuals, community groups, advocacy organizations, and others working to transform how New York City responds to the 200,000+ annual mental health crisis calls now responded to by the NYPD. They advocate for a non-police response to mental health crises led by peers (those with lived mental health experience).

Attendees may RSVP here.
