On March 26, NYLPI in partnership with Catholic Migration Services held a naturalization clinic in Brooklyn. Volunteer attorneys and paralegals from Cleary Gottlieb Steen & Hamilton LLP and Fried, Frank, Harris, Shriver & Jacobson joined us both in person and virtually for a hybrid clinic. The hybrid model was chosen to ensure we could meet clients where they were considering the pandemic. We are proud to share that 25 clients were served from over 15 countries, and 20 clients qualified for free or reduced waivers for their filings — for a total of over $14,000 saved.
