NYLPI Joins Education Advocacy Groups Supporting Extending Eligibility for High Schoolers Turning 21

NYLPI joined individuals and organizations throughout New York State calling on the New York State Education Department and Board of Regents to give students who are turning 21 and aging out of school this year the opportunity to return to high school. Providing students with the option to continue their education is particularly crucial because many of them could otherwise lose their chance to graduate or meet transition goals due to the impact COVID-19 has had on the education system
