Suhali Méndez, teamsters and elected officials speak at a rally in the Bronx for NYLPI Electrify NY

Electrify NY Coalition members were in the Bronx this morning to promote the Green Transit, Green Jobs bill, which would mandate a transition to all-electric transit and paratransit buses in New York.

“The Green Transit, Green Jobs bill would be a major step toward making buses and paratransit vehicles greener, cleaner, and safer for riders, workers, and communities alike. It is important that this bill includes benefits for all New Yorkers, including people with disabilities who are too often left behind in the transition to zero-emissions fleets.” – Suhali Méndez, Legislative and Policy coordinator, NYLPI
