NYLPI has signed onto a Call to Collective Action from the New York City Department of Education (DOE), Advocates for Children of New York, and the ARISE Coalition, to come together around a shared vision for universal literacy. The Call to Collective Action is coupled with a virtual Literacy Summit “Reaching Every Reader,” hosted this week by the three groups.

NYLPI is committed to ensuring education in New York is equitable and accessible for students and families of all backgrounds.
