NYLPI’s Marnie Berk Will Be Featured at NYC Bar Association’s Pro Bono Panel on April 17

Marnie Berk, Pro Bono Programs director at NYLPI, will be a featured panelist at the NYC Bar Association’s Pro Bono and Legal Services Committee event “Tough Conversations in Pro Bono: The Ins and Outs of Talking About Money” on April 17 at Skadden. The event will begin at 4 p.m. ET with the panel discussion, followed by a cocktail reception.

Attendees will explore the importance of law firm and corporate financial support of pro bono programs, how LSOS, firms and corporations currently talk about money, how we could talk about money better, and best practices for requesting donations. We’ll also dive deeper into this topic by exploring how this could and should look in the future.
