Information We Collect
This Privacy Policy applies to information collected by or submitted to New York Lawyers for the Public Interest, a nonprofit, civil rights law firm, through its Web Site. The Web Site provides information about New York Lawyers for the Public Interest and affiliated organizations allows users to sign and submit petitions, register for events, and request information. The information collected on the Web Sites falls into two generic categories: (1) information voluntarily submitted, and (2) information gathered via electronic means.
Information Voluntarily Submitted
New York Lawyers for the Public Interest only gathers “personally identifiable information” (information that relates to an identified individual) if you voluntarily submit such information to us through registration forms, feedback forms, donation forms, and profile update forms.
