Senior Advocate Suhali Méndez Leads Presentations on Housing Accommodations

Suhali Méndez, Senior Advocate in NYLPI’s Disability Justice Program, presented on the topic of Housing Accommodations for People with Disabilities and their families during a Zoom meeting hosted by the District 9 Community Education Council in the Bronx on Tuesday, February 23rd. The goal of the presentation was educating the public on what reasonable accommodations and laws can protect these rights. The Community Education Council offers parents the opportunity to support and impact education at the district level.
