Karina Albistegui Adler

Karina Albistegui Adler is a Senior Advocate in the Health Justice Program. Her work is focused on ensuring that undocumented New Yorkers, in the community and in immigration jails, gain access to health services. Karina joined NYLPI in 2017 as an Immigrant Health Advocate. Prior to joining NYLPI Karina helped individuals diagnosed with cancer navigate the complexities of the healthcare system at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center. Karina received her B.A. from Sarah Lawrence College and her J.D. from the City University of New York School of Law, as a member of the inaugural part-time/evening cohort.
