Skadden Fellow - Environmental Justice

Megan Carr is a Skadden Fellow in NYLPI’s Environmental Justice Program. Her fellowship focuses on utilizing New York’s Environmental Rights Amendment to meet community-identified needs and advance environmental justice for marginalized New Yorkers. She is a proud alum of CUNY School of Law, where she served on the Executive Board of the Environmental Justice Coalition, competed on the Moot Court Team, and facilitated the Courtroom Advocacy Project. During law school she interned with the New York Legal Assistance Group and the Humane Society of the United States. Prior to law school Megan served as a Teach for America Corps Members in Buffalo Public Schools, where she taught English as a New Language to elementary and middle school students. Megan received her master’s degree in childhood education from Canisius College, and her B.A. from Kenyon College.
