Health Justice Community Organizer

Noelle is a Health Justice Community Organizer at NYLPI. She received her B.A. in Human Rights and Visual Arts from Barnard College. She also continues to serve as a grassroots organizer with Anakbayan, a mass organization of Filipino youth and students fighting for the liberation of the Philippines and all people. With her local chapter, she mobilizes and educates her community on shared anti-colonial and anti-imperialist struggles both here and abroad to address the root causes of migration and labor exploitation. She also organizes around national campaigns to garner support for the Philippine Human Rights Act and to condemn the Anti-Terror Law in the Philippines.

Prior to joining NYLPI she was formerly a legal analyst, where she assisted attorneys with litigation proceedings and governmental and regulatory investigations. She has also interned in refugee resettlement and has supported attorneys with asylee representation volunteering with Immigration Justice Campaign.
