NYLPI’s Health Justice program is launching the video series Health Justice Talks. NYLPI’s Health Justice Talks bridge the gap between expert information and community public health and equity concerns.

The first installment of the series includes two Know-Your-Rights videos explaining vaccination requirements — also known as the Key to NYC — for attendees and employees of public spaces including indoor dining, indoor fitness, and indoor entertainment.

These Know-Your-Rights videos are presented in Spanish and Mandarin. For Spanish speakers, Vanessa Ramos, the NYC Commission for Human Rights (NYCCHR) Managing Director for Education and Compliance, went over key points of the Key to NYC program. For Mandarin speakers, our Health Justice team sat down with both Flora Ferng, Associate Human Rights Specialist/East Asian Communities Liaison for NYCCHR, and Michael Fong, the Director of Compliance and Growth for the NYC Department of Small Business Services.

Both videos are available on NYLPI’s YouTube channel.

Additionally, a resource guide for Key to NYC is available on NYLPI’s website with information in Spanish, Mandarin, and English.
